FAQ
Common Questions
Can I make a non-fault accident claim as a delivery rider? ▼
Yes. Delivery riders have the same legal rights as all other road users. If the accident was not your fault, you can claim against the at-fault driver's insurer at zero cost.
Can I claim for lost Uber Eats or Deliveroo earnings? ▼
Yes. If the accident prevented you from working, you can include a loss of platform earnings claim. Evidence of your typical weekly earnings from the app will help.
Does it matter which platform I work for? ▼
No. Your rights are the same regardless of which platform you use — Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat, Stuart, Gophr or any other.
What if I'm self-employed — can I still claim? ▼
Yes. Being self-employed does not affect your right to make a non-fault accident claim. Road Claim works with self-employed riders every day.
Can I get a free replacement delivery bike? ▼
Yes. We arrange a like-for-like replacement moped or delivery bike within 24 hours at no cost. See our
scooter accident claim page for full details.
What if my delivery bike is written off? ▼
We manage total loss claims. You keep the replacement bike until a fair settlement is agreed and you can replace your vehicle.
